Relocation

Driving through the rolling hills and seeing the Blue Ridge Mountains bursting with fall color, it's easy to see why so many families have relocated to the Upstate region. It's not uncommon for people visiting family or friends or to visit one of many beautiful attractions that sparks a interest to relocating to our area.

Hundreds of retires are making that move to the Upstate region because it offers a temperate climate, lots of activities to participate in all year, and excellent colleges and universities. Some of which include Wofford College, Converse College, Bob Jones University, and of course Clemson University.

The areas of the Upstate of South Carolina includes Greenville, Anderson, Oconee, Pickens, Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union counties. Cities you will find within these counties are Greenville, Anderson, Greer, Clemson, Simsonville, Pickens, and Spartanburg. Visitors fall in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as, the many lakes in our area. Two of the largest lakes in our area are Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell.

Within these mountains and lakes you will find many outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing, and boating. Many people also enjoy the most popular park in the Upstate, Greenville's Paris Mountain State Park.

I know for me, there's just something about being on the lake skiing and looking up at the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! Come join us!
